INTERPOLATED - Surfy Space Residency Exhibition
My long-standing artistic inquiry explores the visual language of architecture within the context of urbanization. Grounded in observational drawing, my practice employs mixed media to abstract and recompose isolated architectural elements, examining the intersections of space, structure, and form.
During my two-month Hyperwave residency in Luodong Taiwan, I carried out daily fieldwork and photographic documentation, focusing on the layered patterns and formal vocabularies that emerge from the overlapping of the rural environment and ongoing urban development. These observations have informed the beginnings of a new series of mixed-media works on paper, which I am delighted to share with the public until the end of July at the Surfy Space studio.
You are warmly warmly invited to visit, connect and experience this dialogue between art, architecture and local memory in my exhibition “Interpolated”.
